<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize a printer and to reduce the cost of the printer with a shortened turn-over time of medium. SOLUTION: A printer comprises a medium storage means; a hopping roller 32 rotated by a driving means to feed mediums out of the medium storage means; a printing means operative to perform printing on the medium fed by the hopping roller 32; a discharge roller 35 operative to discharge the printed mediums; a stacker 31 positioned above the medium storage means and operative to stack the delivered mediums; a medium-guiding means mounted aslope and operative to guide the mediums discharged by the discharge roller 35 to the hopping roller 32; and a switching means provided so as to switch freely and operative to selectively send the mediums discharged by the delivery roller 35 to either the stacker 31 or the medium-guiding means.</p> |
