PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shampoo composition having excellent properties of preventing dandruff and itching sensation, lathering well, giving a lather soft to the touch, bringing sufficient washing effects and leaving soft feeling while the hair is being rinsed. SOLUTION: This shampoo composition contains (A) 1 to 15 wt.% of tetradecenesulfonate, (B) 1 to 15 wt.% of polyoxyethylene alkyl ether sulfate, (C) 1 to 10 wt.% of ampholytic surfactant, (D) 0.05 to 5 wt.% of cationic polymer, and (E) 0.05 to 1 wt.% of salicylic acid and/or isopropyl methyl phenol. |
