FLUORESCENT SUBSTANCE PASTE AND PRODUCTION OF PLASMA DISPLAY BASE USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a fluorescent substance paste to be made into a fluorescent substance layer without requiring a baking process and to provide a method for producing a base for a plasma display panel having excellent characteristics by coating the interior of a cell divided by a partition wall with the fluorescent substance paste in excellent accuracy. SOLUTION: In this method for producing a base for a plasma display panel by forming a fluorescent substance layer for emitting each color of RGB in a stripe state on a glass base having formed a partition wall layer, an RGB fluorescent substance layer is formed through a process for using an RGB fluorescent substance paste consisting essentially of inorganic fluorescent substance powder and an organic solvent having 100-350 deg.C boiling point and having a yield point in the range of 50-1,000 mPa and discharging the paste from a spinneret having a delivery nozzle to perform a pattern coating and a drying process for drying it on the glass base having formed the partition wall layer.
