PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foreign matter-separating structure in an apparatus for separating and removing the foreign matter in a raw laver, hardly providing improper force to the raw laver and sufficiently guiding the laver to a clearance when changing the direction of the raw laver from nearly horizontal direction to the perpendicular direction. SOLUTION: This foreign matter-separating structure in an apparatus for separating and removing the foreign matter, comprising the foreign matter-separating structure having a rotating plate 35 installed in a raw laver-mixing liquid vessel 2 for pooling a raw laver mixture and a classification casing 33 having a connecting opening 81, a foreign matter-discharging opening 4, a connecting opening 31 of the classification casing 33, a driving device of the rotating plate 35 and a pump 15 for suction has a clearance formed out of the circumference edge face of a rotating circle of the rotating plate 35 and the circumference edge face of the classification casing 33. As the result, the structure has advantages of keeping the expanded state of the raw laver in nearly horizontal direction by the rotation of the rotating plate, sucking the raw laver in a horizontally expanded state by the clearance nearly as it is, and precisely and efficiently carrying out the separation of the foreign matter or the like. |
