PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare an aloe tablet having a high hardness and extremely readily ingestible, not being disintegrated even by transportation, by making the tablet include an aloe powder and lactulose as active ingredients therein. SOLUTION: This tablet is prepared by including (A) an aloe powder and (B) lactulose as active ingredients. The amounts of the ingredients based on 1 g tablet are preferably 50-800 mg ingredient A and >=0.1 pt.wt. (more preferably 0.2-10 pts.wt.) ingredient B based on 1 pt.wt. ingredient A. The ingredient B is preferably of >=95% purity. The tablet is has preferably 6-15 kg hardness in either of the horizontal and the vertical directions and is capable of withstanding handling, etc., at the time of tableting and packaging. Furthermore, the tablet is not only capable of improving the productivity and product quality but also is excellent in palatability such as no sticking to the interior of an oral cavity at the time of ingestion. |
