PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high pressure fuel feed pump of high performance capable of positively preventing seizure of a cylinder part so as to improve sealing performance and reduce fuel leak. SOLUTION: This pump has a casing 48 with a cylindrical storage recessed part 48a; a sleeve 40 having a cylinder part 40a and a fixed part 40c and disposed with the fixed part 40c side brought into contact with the bottom part of the storage recessed part 48a, and a piston 53 disposed to be reciprocated in the cylinder part 40a. With the reciprocating motion of the piston 53, fuel is taken in and pressurized in a fuel pressure chamber 52 from an intake passage 36, and the pressurized fuel is discharged from a discharge passage 37 and force-fed to a fuel injector of a cylinder injection engine. In this case, a cylindrical slit 40d is provided between the cylinder part 40a and fixed part 40c of the sleeve 40, and the fixed part 40c is fixed being clamped toward the bottom of the storage recessed part 48a by a cylindrical clamping member 64 thread-fastened to the storage recessed part 48a. |
