PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain a power-connected state and a power cut-off state to rest actuators. SOLUTION: A differential gear is provided with an outer case 3 rotated- driven by an engine, an inner case 5 arranged rotatably relative to the case 3, a differential mechanism 7 for distributing the rotation of the case 5 to the wheel side, an engaging clutch 11 for interrupting the connection of the cases 3, 5 by moving a clutch member 9, an actuator 13 on one side for moving- operating the clutch member 9 to a connecting position of the clutch 11, an actuator 15 on the other side for moving-operating the clutch member 9 to a connection-releasing position of the clutch 11 through a penetration member 19, and a position holding means 21 for holding the clutch member 9 at both the positions.
