发明名称 IN VIVO DEGRADABLE AND ABSORPTIVE BONE FIXING MATERIAL AND ITS MANUFACTURE
摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly advance degradation and absorption of a bone fixing material after losing initial strength, by using an in vivo degradable bone fixing material which has a specific value of initial compression bending strength and keeps the compression bending strength at the specific value for longer than three months, and whose mass is degraded and diminished within a specific time. SOLUTION: An in vivo degradable and absorptive bone fixing material which has initial compassion bending strength not lower than 250 MPa, keeps the compression bending strength in vivo not lower than 200 MPa for at least longer than three months, and whose mass is degraded and diminished within three years at the longest is used. Hydroxyapatite and an alkaline inorganic compound are contained in an in vivo degradable and absorptive polymer. The molecular chain in the polymer is oriented in the major axis direction or multiple axis directions. Further, the polymer is pref. constituted of a polylactic acid whose optical purity, i.e., composition of L body and DL body is 100-70%, or which is lactide/glycoside copolymer.
