PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dissolve misconception of failure of a device so as to improve reliability by making a user recognize to the effect that documents cannot be stapled in the case of the number of documents exceeding the limit number of sheets, and improve operability by reducing operation of putting paper together by manual work even in the case of the number of documents exceeding the limit number of sheets. SOLUTION: In the case of the number of documents exceeding the limit number of sheets, an alarm display is made on a display panel to make a user recognize to the effect that the documents cannot be stapled. Whether to be stapled or not are dividedly displayed on the display panel to urge the user to make a selection so as to be able to put paper together even in the case of exceeding the limit number of sheets. Paper processing operation after completion of image formation is therefore reduced, and processing time is shortened. |
