摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sensor heater control method and a control device that can suitably maintain sensor temperature even in case of the change of a gas state. SOLUTION: The maximum variation ΔRPMmax of engine speed RPM and the maximum variation ΔPBmax of boost pressure PB in ten samples are computed every ten samples (S110). In case of either one of the maximum variation ΔRPMmax of engine speed RPM and the maximum variation PBmax of boost pressure being the threshold value ΔRPMth, ΔPBth or more, a transient state is judged (S120, S150). The map value (the applied voltage of a heater) corresponding to the first one sample out of ten samples is held (S130). The map value corresponding to the present engine speed RPM and boost pressure PB is set when the elapsed time Δt after judging return to a steady state from the transient state is a judgment period T or longer.
