<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize the efficient removal of minute foreign matters mixed with and adhered to fluff-like crushed waste plastics with a simple means by a method wherein a screen, which fractionates and discharges foreign matters separating downwards from the crushed plastics due to the difference between specific gravities, is provided near the lower end of a trough. SOLUTION: Plastics 9 crushed in fluffs are charged within a trough 4 through a charging port 2 and carried obliquely upwards with a carrying screw 7 and supplied through a discharging port 3 to the carrying-in part of facilities for turning into resources. In this case, in the trough 4, due to the agitating effect with the carrying screw 7, the difference between the specific gravities of the crushed plastics 9 and of the minute foreign matters 10 mixed with and adhered to the plastics such as sands, glass pieces, pieces of china or the like and the gravities applied to the plastics and the foreign matters, the foreign matters 10 are gradually separated to the wall surface side of the through 4 and moved downwards along the inner wall surface of the trough so as to be fractionated and discharged by means of and through a screen 8. Accordingly, the crushed plastics 9 turn into a state hardly containing the foreign matters 10.</p> |
