摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrict great shock from being applied to a cargo or an operator during acceleration or deceleration when a handling member is at a preset lifting level or higher, without unnecessarily limiting acceleration or deceleration. SOLUTION: Plural travel speed patterns with different accelerations ranging to the maximum speed and the minimum speed are stored in a storage means, and a travel speed pattern previously selected out of them is used to provide speed control in accordance with the control input of an accel pedal 10. Detection signals from an accel sensor 11 and a lifting level sensor 12 are input to a control device 13. The control device 13 controls a travel motor 9 to be driven in accordance with the travel speed pattern with the smallest acceleration ranging to the maximum speed, independently of the control input of the accel pedal 10, when the lifting level of the fork 4 is higher than predetermined.
