PURPOSE:To decrease instantaneous power pulsation caused by a higher harmonic current by superimposing a voltage component, to cancel the higher harmonic component of an output current generated by a higher harmonic component included in induction voltage, on the output voltage of a power converter. CONSTITUTION:A higher harmonic voltage command eh* equivalent to the higher harmonic component of induction voltage is generated by a higher harmonic voltage command generator 4 and added to a fundamental wave voltage command value ef* by an adder 6. Thereby an inverter 2 transmits fundamental wave voltage ef* and a higher harmonic component eh equivalent to an induction voltage higher harmonic component emh as output voltage (e). Thereby an output voltage command e* becomes a distortion wave but the induction voltage higher harmonic component emh is cancelled by the output voltage higher harmonic component eh; therefore, voltage ec applied to the resistance R and the inductance L of a load 1 is converted into a sine wave. |
