PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a waving phenomenon of a particle fly control member from occurring due to environmental conditions by setting a slit that can absorb the stretch of the particle fly control member resulting from a temperature rise to the particle fly control member to which a voltage is impressed to separate particles passing a plurality of minute opening parts from a particle-holding body. SOLUTION: In an image forming apparatus including a developing roller 1 as a toner-holding body holding toners, an opposite electrode member 2 opposed to the developing roller 1, an FPC3 which is a toner control member as a particle fly control member, etc., a plurality of cuts 101 are formed in the FPC 3 as a slit that can absorb the stretch of the FPC3 resulting from a temperature rise. A part of a length L in a direction orthogonal to a paper transfer direction, namely, in a right-left direction where a group 30 of holes and control electrodes is formed is divided by the cuts 101 to a plurality of blocks. The thus-formed cuts 101 can absorb the stretch of the FPC3 because of the temperature ruse, thereby holding the FPC3 in a flat state. |
