PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air bag device for a front passenger seat with reduced weight. SOLUTION: An air bag device M for a front passenger seat is constituted by arranging under a synthetic resin-made instrument panel 10, a folded air bag 1, inflator 2 supplying expanding gas to the air bag 1, and a case 6 covering the air bag 1 and the inflator 2. The case 6 is constituted by providing a wall unit part 12, 13, having two side wall parts 12a, 13a extended from the instrument panel 10 to be opposed to surround the periphery of the folded air bag 1 and bottom wall parts 12c, 13c extended from a respective lower end of the side wall part 12a, 13a to fold a connection location 12b, 13b to each side wall part capable of covering the downward of the air bag 1 and the inflator 2, to be integrally formed with the in-panel 10. Each folded bottom wall part 12c, 13c is fixedly connected to a frame 30 of a vehicle with the air bag 1 and the inflator 2. |
