PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable to lower mortality in culturing shellfishes by dipping the shellfishes in a medical fluid. SOLUTION: This method for culturing shellfishes is to dip the shellfishes in a medicinal fluid. The medicinal fluid is preferably a solution in which vitamins are dissolved or suspended. As the vitamins, one or more of vitamins selected from vitamin B, vitamin C and vitamin E are preferable. Further, one or more compounds selected from thiamine nitrate, riboflavin, pyridoxine hydrochloride, nicotinic acid amide, DL-calcium pantothenate, folic acid, dl-α- tocopherol acetate and L-ascorbic acid are more preferable.
