PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a buffer link provided with an elastic coupling mechanism having a buffering function against a compression force and a tensile force. SOLUTION: An elastic coupling mechanism 2 is incorporated in the middle in the direction of length of a link member 1. The elastic coupling mechanism 2 comprises a single rubber body 3 for compression force cushion nipped between the end plates 5a and 5b of first and second members 1a and 1b; upper and lower seat plates 12a and 12b brought into contact with 8 in a total upper and lower rubber bodies 4a and 4b for cushion for a tensile force; upper and lower seat plates 12a and 12b brought into contact with the rubber bodies 4a and 4b for cushion for a tensile force; four coupling rods 13 and the like. A compression force exerted on the link member 1 during an earthquake is buffered through compression elastic deformation of the rubber body 3 for cushion for a compression force. The tensile force is buffered through compression elastic deformation of the 8 in total rubber bodies 4a and 4b for cushion for a tensile force. |
