<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently reduce particulate discharged in the atmosphere in an exhaust emission control device of an internal combustion engine in which a particulate trapping filter is disposed for each cylinder in an exhaust emission path on the upstream side of the exhaust emission collecting part of an engine exhaust system. SOLUTION: In an exhaust emission control device of an internal combustion engine in which a particulate trapping filter 5 is disposed for each cylinder in an exhaust path 2b on the upstream side of the exhaust emission collecting part 2a of an engine exhaust system, the upstream side exhaust port 1b of the particulate trapping filter 5 in each exhaust emission path communicates at least to the upstream side exhaust port 1b of the particulate trapping filter 5 in the other exhaust path through a communicating path 6. The communicating path 6 is formed in a cylinder head 1.</p> |
