摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a resin composition which has excellent flowability and can give a molding having nondripping performances and excellent appearance, wherein the fracture surface formed by fracturing a test piece made therefrom at a specified tensile rate has the specified number of nonuniformly distributed local areas composed of a plurality of polytetrafluoroethylene fibrils each bonded to the matrix at its ends. SOLUTION: The fracture surface formed by fracturing a test piece having a thickness of 1.6 mm and a width of 12.7 mm and obtained by injection molding a resin composition containing 100 pts.wt. polyphenylene ether resin, 1-30 pts.wt. phosphorus-containing flame retardant such as a phosphoric ester compound represented by the formula, and 0.02-1 pt.wt. polytetrafluoroethylene at 23 deg.C and a tensile rate of 20 mm/min has 1-100 or more nonuniformly distributed local areas where the polytetrafluoroethylene exists in the form of a plurality of fibrils each bonded to the matrix at both ends and having a monofilament diameter of 2μm or below. In the formula, Q1 to Q4 are each a 1-6C alkyl or the like; R1 to R4 are each H or methyl; n is 1 or greater; n1 and n2 are each 0-3; and m1 to m4 are each 1-3.
