PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyethylene resin composition for blow molding and a blow molded vessel made of the composition, causing little surface roughening in blow molding, having excellent parison characteristics, high strength and squeezing performance and enabling the molding of a thin-walled product. SOLUTION: The objective polyethylene resin composition for blow molding and the blow molded vessel made of the resin composition contain 100 pts.wt. of a mixture containing (A) 30-70 wt.% of the following component A and (B) 70-30 wt.% of the following component B and (C) 0.05-3 pts.wt. of basic magnesium 12-hydroxystearate. The component A is an ethylene-α-olefin copolymer having a melt flow rate of 1-10 g/10 min and a density of 0.925-0.935 g/cm<3> and the component B is a polyethylene produced by high-pressure radical polymerization and having a melt flow rate of 0.1-10 g/10 min and a density of 0.915-0.925 g/cm<3> . |
