PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a pharmaceutical composition useful for producing a liquid preparation having little side effect of hemolysis or the like, and local irritation, having excellent defoaming activity and depositing no compound of an active component as crystals by compounding a specific compound as the active component and a cyclodextrin as a stabilizer. SOLUTION: This composition is composed of (A) 2-amino-2-[2-(4-octylphenyl) ethyl]propane-1,3-diol or its pharmaceutically permissible acid adduct salt preferably in an amount of 0.1-10 wt.% based on the total amount of the composition as an active component and (B) a cyclodextrin (e.g.α-cyclodextrin) preferably in an amount of 1-50 pts.wt. based on 1 pt.wt. of the component A as a stabilizer. This composition has preferably a dosage form such as an injection, an eye drop or the like, and it is useful for suppressing rejection reaction after the transplantation of an organ or bone marrow, the maintenance immunotherapy for the transplantation, the treatment of an eye disease such as Behcet's disease or uveitis, or the like.
