A food comprising dietary fiber, being nutriologically excellent and having excellent function and property is produced economically from konnyaku mannan and ground meat by treating a mixture of konnyaku mannan and a relatively small amount of water with a coagulating agent to prepare hydrated gel of the mannan, kneading the gel and ground meat, forming the resultant mixture into a desired shape, and optionally heating or freezing the product. |
