摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for heat transfer recording by which it is possible to prevent the deterioration of an image density even when the improvement of fixing properties is tried using a reaction-type dye and also prevent the wasteful use of image printing time from occurring, and serve the purpose adequately with only an ordinary energy supply and less a load upon a thermal head, and further, eliminate the fusion bonding of an ink sheet with an image receiving sheet with other advantages such as generating no image irregularities, suppression of a sticking phenomenon occurring to the back face of the ink sheet and the development of a high-density image with high image conserving properties. SOLUTION: The ink layer of an ink sheet having an ink layer which contains a heat- diffusive dye precursor and an image receiving layer of an image receiving sheet having an image receiving layer which contains a dye fixing medium for forming dye through a chemical reaction with the dye precursor, are laminated opposite to each other on a support. Further, an image is formed through transferring the dye precursor to the image receiving layer by heating the precursor in an image form with the help of a heating device. After that, a reheating layer is reheated in such a way that it comes into contact with the image forming face of the image receiving sheet through a member with the reheating layer formed. In this method for heat transfer recording as described, the Tg temperature of the reheating layer falls within the range of 100 deg.C or higher and 300 deg.C or lower. And the reheating layer is a cured resin product.
