PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a piezoelectric porcelain compsn. capable of firing at a lower temp. than the conventional temp., having a small grain diameter and excellent in fatigue strength characteristics. SOLUTION: The piezoelectric porcelain compsn. is represented by the formula; Pba Srb (Zc Tid Sbe Mnf )O3 and has a tetragonal perovskite structure. The molar ratio of Pb+Sr (a+b) to Zr+Ti+Sb+Mn (e+d+e+f) is >1.0 to 1.03.
