PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cleanly hold a treating tool for an endoscope without making a thin and long flexible sheath be unsteady and to easily hold and take out the treating tool. SOLUTION: This keeper is provided with a frame 10, a hand side part holding member 13 provided on the frame 10 for holding an operation part 2 connected to the hand side end part of the sheath 3 or the vicinity of the hand side end part of the sheath 3 and a cylindrical holding member 15 supported by the frame 10 at least near both ends whose one end is turned to the hand side part holding member 13, and intermediate part is smoothly bent so as to loosely pass through the large part of the sheath 3.
