A pillow (11) having a storage pocket (20) sized for retaining a packaged condom (39) is provided. The storage pocket (20) is located in the center of one side of the pillow (11), and is integrally formed with a seam (33) running across the pillow (11) face so that the pocket (20) is substantially hidden from view. The pocket (20) is sized such that a stored condom (39) can be easily retrieved, yet small enough so that the packaged condom (39) will not fall out, even when the pillow (11) is shaken.
