<p>The invention concerns the locating of the expression of the insulin-like 4 (ISNL4) gene in the human embryonic bone tissues and ligaments, detection and diagnostic methods, methods for marking and detecting said tissues expressing INSL4 gene expression products as well as methods for selecting compounds capable of modulating the activity of said cells. The invention also concerns medicines for treating pathologies related to the differentiation and/or abnormal proliferation of said tissues, particularly pathologies related to the abnormal development of the cartilage and/or an abnormal ossification of the bone being formed and/or the abnormal development of interarticular ligaments.</p> |
