<p>A class of substituted 1,2,4-triazolo[4,3-b]pyridazine derivatives (I), wherein Z represents cyclobutyl, 1-methylcyclopentyl or pyrrolidin-1-yl; R1 represents pyridin-3-yl or pyridin-3-ylphenyl; and R2 represents methyl-triazolyl or methyl-pyridinyl, are selective ligands for GABA1 receptors in particular having high affinity for the α2 and/or α3 subunit thereof, and accordingly of benefit in the treatment and/or prevention of disorders of the central nervous system, including anxiety and convulsions.</p> |
