At least one gas discharge passage(29) is provided in the gas generator and into it flows the produced gas which enters radially and is then directed to the outlet(31). The discharge passage is located inside the outer casing(1) and co-axially with it. The passage is enclosed by a tubular filter(23) through which flows gas. An annular gap(21) is formed between the filter and outer casing and into this gap flows the gas.
