Induction heating production for narrow-radius turning draft arc boiler pipe

The pipe production produces an arc of narrow radius in a pipe (30) such as a boiler pipe, with a wall thickness which is a function of the pipe diameter and the arc radius. The pipe is prepared and longitudinal compression is applied to it. The inside of the arc is heated with an induction coil heater (40). The tube is bent to an arc of narrow radius, still under longitudinal compression and directly after heating the inside of the arc, producing an arc of narrow radius. The outside of the arc undergoes a loss of less than 10% of the original pipe wall thickness.
