The miniature radar sensor has a common transmission/reception antenna (3), coupled to 2 feeds (31,32) supplied via a stripline or hollow waveguide 90 degree coupler (2) and having a 90 degree phase offset, for providing a circularly polarized transmission signal, with a mixer diode (4) connected to the coupler node (24) from which the reception signal is obtained.
