The equipment comprises three principal roller pairs (3-8), all at the same height. In the central, S-roller pair (5,6) the sheet is heated to temperatures well below those of the coating rollers (4,7) on either side. Preferred features: First and second coating units cover the inside and outside of the sheet respectively. Radiant heaters (11,14) are located above the rollers (6,7).
