The piano casing contains one or more openings in the cladding of the upper frame which may be opened or closed by means of sliding doors. A piano casing (1) having a frame bounded to a notch carrying a back resonance base, comprises an upper (5) and lower frame, between which are arranged keyboard frames. The upper (5) and/or the lower frame has vertical cladding (7,8,9). The cladding (7,8,9) contains one or more openings (15) which may be optionally opened or closed by means of slidable doors (22,32).
