Non self-illuminating color display with addressing system

摘要

The electronic display panel is in the form of a matrix of field dependent particles (100). Each particle is a bi-chromatic particle with one half being white and the other a color. The particles are electrically bipolar and the color is selected by applying the appropriate voltage. The particles are retained within a fluid (110) to form a capsule.
