A method for evaluating good or bad moulded parts that are produced in an injection moulding machine. The parameter curves of a first parameter (y) are detected as a function of a second parameter (x) during a plurality of moulding processes and the mean is taken to form a mean curve (M2). A standard deviation is calculated on the basis of the detected parameter values in order to enable adjustment of a permitted range in which the parameter curves during production should lie when the moulding parts are manufactured, so that the respective moulding parts can be evaluated as good. The standard deviation is calculated according to the second parameter (x). This enables calculation of a permissible variation in order to provide a suitable tolerance band even when there are heavy fluctuations of the parameter that is to be monitored, whereby the rejection rate can be reduced even further.
