The diagonal shift setting device has first and second clamping parts on the plate cylinder (60) to clamp the ends of the plate on the cylinder surface. The clamping parts have front and rear edge clamping bases (2, 3) respectively. There is an intermediate cavity between the clamping bases. The second clamping part can move in a diagonal setting direction (92, 93) parallel to an axis (60L) of the plate cylinder rotating shaft (60J).
