The present summary concerns to a request of patent for the improvement in retention device of internal rear-view mirror, appertaining to the field of parts for automobiles, that was developed in order to proportionate a simple and efficient solution with relation to others and comprised, essentially: by elements) of retention (60) projected from the internal surface of the glove (40) of the base (4) of the mirror or external in relation to the point of the axis (30) of the support arm (3) of the casing (2), that houses the mirror strictly speaking (1) and that is subject to an elastic medium (61), that presses the mentioned element(s) in the radial direction to the glove (2) and point of the axis (30); and by correspondent recess(es) (62) practiced in the external surface of the point of the axis (30) or internal of the glove (40), respectively, and the receptor(es) of the element(s) of retention (60).
