Low-viscosity cosmetic or dermatological preparations containing (I) one or several partially neutralised esters of monoglycerides and/or diglycerides of saturated fatty acids with citric acid, (II) one or several fatty alcohols selected from the group of branched and unbranched alkyl alcohols with 12-40 carbon atoms, (III) an aqueous phase, (IV) in relation to the overall weight of the preparations, 0-10 wt. % of a liquid phase, whereby the weight ratio of the sum of constituents from (I) and (II): (IV) is selected from a range of 20:1 to 1:5.
