Production of cyanuric chloride molding, e.g. dust-free rodlets or flakes, without sublimation. In the production of cyanuric chloride (I) moldings by cooling a (I) melt in a mold, a pressure cell with ducted nozzle(s) capable of forming strands is filled with (I) melt and the walls of the cell and/or nozzle(s) are cooled so that the temperature at the start or inside the ducts, which have a constant cross-section, is below the melting point of (I) and not greater than 140 <0>C at the outlet. The strand of solidified (I) is pressed from the nozzle by force on the cell, then the strand is crushed.
