A cavity sealing article (100) comprises: (a) a planar support member (110); and (b) a sealing member (120) comprising a foamable polymer surrounding and in intimate contact with the support member in the plane of the support member, the sealing member (120) comprising at least two layers in intimate contact in the plane of the support member (110), the outermost of the layers (124) comprising an uncross-linked foamable polymer, and an inner layer (122) comprising a cross-linked foamable polymer.
