Combination hand tool which can be opened with one hand

The tool (2) comprises two handles pivotally connected to each other and having jaws (12,22) at one end. In first position of use jaws are operably opposed for grasping an object and in second position second handle (14) is a linear extension of the first. A lock (44) pivotally connected to the first handle releasably secures second handle in its second position. The other end of first hand has a wrench (30) and that of the second has interconnection for a bit, allen wrench and the like.
