The multichannel lens plug has a housing (11) provided with an index (11a) for indicating its angular position relative to a counter-plug (22), each channel provided by an optical fibre (a,b,c) aligned with a common focussing lens (1) with a diameter at least double the spacing of the optical fibre which is furthest from the center axis of the plug from the center axis.
