HAND TROLLEY FOR HIGH MASS LOADS

A hand trolley including an open frame (1) for securely holding a load (7), a handle means (8) for operating and manoeuvring said trolley, and wheels (4) fitted to either side of frame (1). The centre of mass of load (7) when load (7) is securely held in frame (1) is substantially at or near the axis of rotation of frame (1) about wheels (4). Each wheel (4) can be replaced by a set of two or three smaller wheels mounted on a common carrier, with the carrier having an axis of rotation about axle (5) to allow the trolley more stability when negotiating uneven terrain. The trolley can manoeuvre high mass loads, such as pallets of building or paving bricks, sleepers, and rocks over the rough terrain of a construction site.
