<p>Pipe preparing tool comprising a cutter assembly (3) mounted on a body (2) and capable of sliding movement relative to the body in a first direction, a cutter (4) mounted in the assembly (3) for engagement, in use, with a pipe surface, a tangential plane of which surface in contact with the cutter is substantially perpendicular said first direction, the tool being adapted for movement over said surface in a second direction substantially perpendicular said first direction, the cutter having a cutting edge (13) to cut into said surface, said edge being inclined with respect to said plane, characterised in that said sliding movement is free sliding movement relative to the body in said first direction. <IMAGE></p> |
