PURPOSE:To obtain the subject additive having excellent cleaning property at high temperature, heat stability and anti-emulsifying property, comprising respectively specific alkaline earth metal salt of a hydroxybenzoic acid and alkali metal salt of a hydroxybenzoic acid as principal components. CONSTITUTION:The objective additive contains (A) 50-95wt.% alkaline earth metal salt (preferably calcium salt) of a hydroxybenzoic acid having 8-36C alkyl group and (B) 5-50wt.% alkali metal salt (preferably sodium salt or potassium salt) hydroxybenzoic acid having 8-36C alkyl group as principal components. |
