The collector consists of a vibrating table on which the articles to be collected advance in small jumps, and an oscillating rake (3) with two transverse side bars (2). The friction between the articles being collected and the table is fairly low, and the rake performs a transverse reciprocating motion with the lateral bars pushing in turn on the collected articles so that they gather in a space as compact as possible. The distance between the bars is adjusted according to the diameter of the articles and the number of them being collected at one time.
