FIELD: hear-and-mass exchange apparatus. SUBSTANCE: cooling tower sprinkler has rectangular grates positioned in tiers. Grates are provided with bushes installed at their corners. Height of bushes equals that of boss located in center of grate. Tenons are made under bushes, and jumpers are arranged along grate walls at the same space. One of jumpers being the nearest to central jumper in every sector is positioned at a distance which is half as long as space. Jumpers are fitted with convex members on their sides which are staggered relative to members on adjacent jumpers. Grates of adjacent tiers may be turned about through 90 and 180 deg.
