NEW ANTI VIRAL COMPOUNDS

There are provided new compounds having antiviral properties of the formula: B-S-O-Fa, wherein O is oxygen, B-S is a nucleoside analogue in which B represents an optionally substituted heterocyclic ring system, S being a monosaccharide derivative, and Fa is an acyl group of a mono-unsaturated C18 or 20 fatty acid, which fatty acid is esterified with a hydroxyl group of the sugar moiety of the nucleoside analogue or with a hydroxyl group on the non-cyclic group of the nucleosic analogue.
