<p>An apparatus for recovering solvent from the residual slurry from a dry cleaning machine for textiles and metal parts is independent from the dry cleaning machine. The apparatus for recovering solvent from the residual slurry from a dry cleaning machine for textiles and metal parts comprises: (a) a residual slurry distillation device (1) with heaters (4, 5); (b) an electromotor pump (18) for removing the slurry from the distillation device (D) of the dry cleaning device and for conveying to the distillation device (1); (c) a pressure compensating connection (65, 66) between the distillation devices (1, D); (d) a ventilator (38) for removing the gas charged with the solvent from the upper part of the distillation device (1) and for conveying through a first condenser (26) and then through a second strongly acting condenser (40, 41) and subsequently through a first heater (45, 46) and a second strongly acting heater (48); (e) a connection (49) for recycling the gas from heater (48) to the distillation device (1); (f) a separator (28) connected to the outlets to both condensers for separating the condensate into water and solvent; (g) a connection (34, 35) to the solvent outlet of the separator (28) with a collection vessel (32) for solvent; (h) a connection (29, 30) of the water outlet of the separator (28) with an effluent collector; and (i) an energy injection and control unit (100) to automatically provide energy and subsequently control the individual units of the apparatus.</p> |
