<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily fix beams to a column by forming through holes in a constant height from the lower end of the column, forming a screw hole adjusted to these through holes in a state where the lower end coincides with the lower end of the column, in a fitting body slidably fitted in a hollow part of the column, and fixing the beams to the column by a bolt. SOLUTION: In a rectangular cross-sectional column 16 having an intermediate partition 17, a through hole 19 is formed in a position adjusted to a nut 14 of a fitting body 9 in a state of butting the lower end against a presser plate by fitting the other side space of the intermediate partition 17 to the fitting body 9 after forming inserting grooves 18, 18 on both sides of one side short edge. When installing a fence main body between upper/lower beams by vertically extending the beams between plural columns 16 erected on the peripheral edge of a veranda, first of all, a bracket 21 is fixed to the columns 16 by screwing a bolt 24 in a nut 14 through through holes 22, 19 by making the through hole 22 of the bracket 21 coincide with the through hole 19 of the columns 16.
